Despite the fact that the initial Pokémon Pokémon Scarlett and Violet’s Pokédex is one of our favorites among the latest installments of the saga, we wouldn’t deny that Baldia seemed like a vast enough territory to house many other creatures. The 400 Pokémon available in both games are less than half of the existing ones and this has been a frequent complaint from users which will be resolved by the recently announced expansions.
At recent Pokémon Presents on February 27, Game Freak and The Pokémon Company confirmed an expansion known as The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero that will bring with it new areas, adventures, and creatures for Scarlet and Violet. This DLC will be split into Part 1 (The Teal Mask, available this fall) and Part 2 (The Indigo Disk, due out at the end of the year) and will bring back over 200 Pokémon whose names appear to have already been leaked.
Several users dived into the game files after the last update and found 223 hidden entries in the pokédex. Something similar happened with Pokémon Sword and Shield when their DLCs were announced and eventually all of the leaked names ended up being part of the DLC, so even if it wasn’t official, the list of Pokémon that come back with hidden treasure is sure to be in the area. zero would look a lot like the following treasure:
